Native to the Indo-west pacific ocean, Tiger Prawns are large bodied commercially maketed shrimp and is one of the most prized catch in the market due to its size. It gets its name from the stripes that cover their shell and tails and  can grow upto 12 inches long. Tiger prawns have a strong flavor, sweet taste, firm flesh and is one of the tastiest prawns that turns red when cooked. Tiger prawns can be grilled, fried, roasted, can be stuffed and can be used in curries as well.
